I took my massage education seriously, embracing every opportunity for extra research projects, student volunteer events and getting together with fellow students and other LMT’s to study & practice techniques.

 

The most important component of being a therapist is treating every client with dignity and being a facilitator to assist them in achieving their wellness goals. My main specialty, if you will, is taking time for thorough intake & assessment with each client. My skill set is quite expansive and is primarily centered around an ever-growing knowledge of the spine and how, just like the song says, everything is connected.

 

I have completed many hours of study under the methods of Dr. Ross Turchaninov, the “Father of Medical Massage”. My work is extremely thorough and each client leaves the treatment room understanding & knowing more than they did when they entered, thus leaving them empowered to move forward along their wellness journey. My next continuing education coursework will be in learning lymphatic drainage massage, as well as obtaining Fitness & Wellness certification through Pima Community College. I will be offering private instruction to clients in areas of body awareness, stretching & strengthening techniques that can easily be done at home in the smallest of spaces.

 

I live a healthy lifestyle, placing great importance on the foods I eat, exercise, and maintaining healthy balance in my outside activities. I enjoy hiking, camping, backpacking, playing music, photography, sewing and volunteering in our community.

 

I plan to continue working as a wellness practitioner as long as I can and look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
