Welcome Baby Joseph

We are excited to announce that our therapist, Celina Peña, finally had her baby on November 19, 2012. Joseph was born at 4:06 am, weighing in at 6 lbs., 15 oz. and 19.5 inches long. She will be on maternity leave until February 2,, 2013.

Right Touch Pool Party

This year we had our summer office party at the Marriott at Starr Pass. We all got a chance to relax while floating down their Lazy River. Our dinners served pool side in a private cabana and two employees said their burgers were the best! We were treated like royalty the whole time and would definitely recommend them to others.

SunMED Medical Systems

SunMED Medical Systems is a national company specializing in providing medical equipment to patients outside of the hospital setting. Last year the SunMED company chose the Right Touch therapists to become certified lymphedema garment fitters for them.

If you have a garment Rx from your doctor or physical therapist contact SunMED at 1-800-714-7434 so they can help you verify insurance approval. Once that is done we will be happy to measure you for your custom lymphedema garment.

We're Offering Classes!

Instruction in Basics

A  class is now being offered to the public at our office. Students are given one-on- one tutoring by the  owner, Kathy Rinn. Kathy received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northern Arizona University and has 20 years teaching experience at the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts.

This class is designed for those that have an interest in learning some of the fundamental strokes to safely and effectively work on friends and family members. No prior experience is necessary.

The 2 hour class may be taken by couples or individuals and will take place on an evening that is convenient for you. The cost is $50. This also makes a unique gift for someone you know that already shows some talent in massage

A Clean and Green Vendor

As regular clients know, we try to be environmentally green here at The Right Touch. We recycle, filter our water, painted our office with environmentally friendly paint, some of us bike or walk to and from work, and products we sell are natural or organic.

We try to be responsible inhabitants of the planet, and we are happy to say that our laundry service , Campbell Coin Laundry, is transitioning to environmentally safe detergents whenever possible and by request for wash and fold customers, and solar heated hot water is on its way too! We think this company may be the first of its type in Tucson to make this step.

There are many small steps we can take that collectively have tremendous impact on carbon footprints and maintaining clean water supplies. We are proud to use like minded services and definitely believe Campbell Coin Laundry deserves kudos for changing major aspects of its business procedures to offer environmentally friendly detergents and lower their energy consumption through the use of solar heated water.
